Whew! I don't know about you DIVAS, but life has been throwing me some curve balls lately. I learned a long time ago that once you commit to doing something positive and uplifting, there will be many roadblocks that come up in ways you couldn't even imagine. That's what I have been battling over the past few months and, unfortunately, I let some of those "attacks" deter me from being fully committed to the things I know will make a difference in my world. There comes a time when you just get tired - physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. However, I am so thankful that I have so many sources of joy and energy in my life to revitalize me when I get to that point. Sometimes you just have to take a step back and re-evaluate what is and is not important and remember why it is you do what you do. There, also, comes a time when you may have to let somethings (and people) go in order to free up energy and resources. We must all strive to continue growing and giving - even when it hurts, even when it seems senseless, even when it seems unappreciated.
Perseverance is steady persistence in a course of action, a PURPOSE, a state - especially in spite of difficulties, obstacles, or discouragement. I'm sure we've all been there and done that, but did you grow from it, did you learn from it, did you become stronger from it? If not, then it was all for naught. Use your struggles as life lessons to learn more about yourself and what you are capable of enduring. Grow stronger, grow wiser and keep moving on. Pass on your wisdom to others that you see going through the same struggles you may have overcome - sometimes it will be appreciated, other times it won't. Do your part and let God handle the rest.
~~~Have a wonderful weekend DIVAS! Be blessed and be a blessing!~~~
