A Dream Deferred

What happens to a dream deferred?
Does it dry up
like a raisin in the sun?
Or fester like a sore--
And then run?
Does it stink like rotten meat?
Or crust and sugar over--
like a syrupy sweet?
Maybe it just sags
like a heavy load.
Or does it explode?
What is it that you want to accomplish? Is it opening your own business? Going back to school? Changing careers? In order to realize your dream, you have to have a plan of action. How are you going to do it? When? Where? Why? Who will help? By starting with a plan of action, you are setting the foundation for your success.
