This week's thankful post was a slight struggle for me because it has been a very hectic week, but it's weeks like these that are my main motivation for doing this. I'm striving to be grateful despite my circumstances and temporary setbacks and frustrations.
This week, I'm thankful for:
~my mother. My Facebook status yesterday said, "God broke the mold when He created my mother. She's my biggest cheerleader, encourager, motivator and prayer warrior. #blessedbeyondfavor"
~after my Meals on Wheels experience on Wednesday, family and friends that call to check up on one another and have a genuine concern for one another's well-being. I'm always reminded of the time I left my cell phone at work one weekend and wasn't getting my aunt's text messages and calls, she showed up on my door step with 3 of my other aunts to make sure all was well. No one in my family could be that person that's been missing for weeks on end before someone realized they hadn't been seen or heard from.
~banana flavored Laffy Taffy
~my sister visiting and cooking dinner for us tonight
~B-12 vitamins
What about you, Divas? What's on your list this week? Encourage and motivate one another. Sometimes thinking about the smallest thing to be thankful opens the door to so much more.
Blessings Divas!
